What is Aether?
Well, it was originally thought to be the secret, bonus fifth element. Y'know, fire, water, earth, air. And aether. Succintly defined on search engines as "A medium that was once supposed to fill all space and to support the propagation of electromagnetic waves."
Some call it space, some call it nothing, but in my eyes, it's definitely some... thing. What is the physical area that light, sound, wi-fi signals, thoughts, gazes, and breath all pass through? Surely, there's something tangible there. Does it have properties? I'm not talking about the scientific kind either, we all know about CO2, I wanna dig into the iddeeeeeaaaa of that area. The "between realm" if you may.

I think it stems from a rebellious, punk, "why is that the way it is" mentality. I want to explore topics in a way that help us see that area in a new perspective.
It's also a journal of sorts, to help me process ideas I have of my own and maybe connect with people who have similar thoughts or want to unpack the same things with me. Expect thoughts, drawings, excerpts, basically whatever comes to my silly mind in this crazy world.
While we may not uncover why the quintessence was shelved anytime soon, I love the pontification of what my version of screaming into the aether might be. So, with that, I'd love to welcome you to Aether, where I'll be filling space with some thoughts and creative musings if you're so inclined to hear. And propagating electromagnetic waves I guess.
